Brake shoes do not have a fixed shelf life, and their replacement cycle mainly depends on the degree of wear and usage.

The replacement cycle of brake shoes is usually between 30,000 and 60,000 kilometers, depending on the driving conditions, driving habits and wear of the brake shoes. Generally speaking, brake shoes need to be replaced when their thickness wears to a certain extent. For example, when the thickness of the brake shoes wears from 1.5cm to 0.3cm, they usually need to be replaced. In addition, the service life of the front brake shoes is about 30,000 to 50,000 kilometers, while the service life of the rear brake shoes can reach 60,000 to 100,000 kilometers.

In order to ensure driving safety, it is recommended to check the wear of the brake shoes every 10,000 to 20,000 kilometers and replace them if necessary. If the braking performance is found to be reduced or the thickness of the brake shoes is too thin, they should be replaced in time.
