When the brake system fault light is on, you can take the following measures:
Check the wear of the brake pads: If the brake pads are severely worn, especially when the brake pads with induction wires are worn to the limit, a warning will be automatically issued through the circuit. If there is no induction wire, when the brake pads are worn to a certain extent, there will be a hissing sound of "iron rubbing against iron" to prompt that the brake pads need to be replaced.
Check the brake fluid: Brake fluid plays a vital role in the brake system and is responsible for transmitting the driver's braking action to the wheels. If the brake fluid is insufficient, the braking force will decrease or even fail completely. Therefore, timely replenishment of brake fluid is the key to solving this problem.
Check the gasket or oil seal: Gaskets or oil seals that have not been replaced for a long time may cause system failure due to damage. Damaged gaskets or oil seals need to be checked and replaced.
Check the parking switch: The parking switch is not put back in place, which may also cause the brake system fault indicator to light up. It is recommended to use a fault detector for accurate diagnosis and then gradually troubleshoot the problem.
